These Course Upload Guidelines help instructors create high-quality, compliant, and learner-friendly courses on MyEduLinks.
All instructors must follow these rules before submitting a course for review.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in:

  • course rejection,
  • required revisions,
  • removal of content, or
  • suspension of instructor account.
  1. Course Structure Requirements

Each course must follow a clear and organized structure:

Simple, clear, and relevant to the content.

✔ Course Subtitle

Short explanation of what the learner will achieve.

✔ Course Description

Should include:

  • key topics
  • learning goals
  • target audience
  • requirements (if any)
  • outcome of the course

✔ Curriculum

Your course MUST include:

  • Modules / Sections
  • Lessons
  • Videos
  • Quizzes or assignments (optional but recommended)

A minimum of 5 lessons is suggested for quality.

  1. Content Quality Standards

To maintain a professional learning experience, your content must follow these quality rules:

3.1 Video Standards

  • Clear audio (no noise, echo, distortion)
  • Minimum recommended resolution: 720p HD
  • Stable camera or screen recording
  • Good lighting and readable screen (for screen recordings)

3.2 Audio Standards

  • Use a decent microphone
  • Avoid background noises
  • Speak clearly and at a consistent pace
  • Use professional and respectful language

3.3 Visual Content

  • Slides must be neat and readable
  • Avoid watermarks from other platforms
  • Do not use copyrighted images without permission

3.4 PDF / Notes / Resources

All downloadable materials must be:

  • original
  • clear and clean
  • free from plagiarism
  • non-branded from other platforms
  • properly structured
  1. Originality & Copyright Rules

Instructors MUST upload ONLY content they legally own.

❌ Prohibited:

  • Re-uploading YouTube videos
  • Copying from Udemy, Coursera, Skillshare, etc.
  • Using copyrighted books, slides or lectures
  • Using AI-generated content without reviewing accuracy
  • Using others’ paid content or premium assets
  • Uploading content purchased from other creators
  • Using logos or trademarks without rights

✔ Allowed:

  • Your own recordings
  • Original slides
  • Content you created from scratch
  • Licensed stock media (with proper rights)
  • AI-assisted content (if edited and original)

Violation may lead to account suspension.

  1. Accuracy & Information Standards

Courses must provide:

✔ Correct information

✔ Realistic promises

✔ Honest expertise

✔ No misleading claims

❌ Not Allowed:

  • Fake certifications
  • “Guaranteed results” claims
  • Financial or investment predictions without disclaimer
  • Health/medical claims without proper qualifications
  1. Course Length Guidelines

There is no minimum duration, but to ensure value:

Recommended:

  • At least 30 minutes of video content
  • At least 5–10 lessons
  • Clear explanation of each topic

Short or very basic courses may be rejected if they lack depth.

  1. Prohibited Categories

The following content cannot be uploaded:

  • Adult, sexual or explicit content
  • Hate speech, abuse or discrimination
  • Political propaganda or extremist topics
  • Illegal or unethical activities
  • Pirated content
  • Defamation or harmful information
  • Spam or promotional videos
  1. Language & Presentation
  • Use clear and understandable language
  • Avoid abusive, offensive, or slang words
  • Maintain respectful and professional tone
  • Use subtitles if possible (optional but helpful)
  1. Technical Requirements for Uploading

Before uploading, ensure:

  • videos are in MP4 format (recommended)
  • PDF files are clean and compressed
  • lesson titles are short and meaningful
  • each module is properly organized
  • course image is 1280×720 or above
  • no copyrighted logos appear in thumbnails
  1. Course Review & Approval Process

After submitting your course:

  1. MyEduLinks Team reviews it for:
    • quality
    • originality
    • accuracy
    • safety
    • policy compliance
  2. You may receive instructions for corrections.
  3. Once approved, the course goes live.
  4. In case of rejection, you will receive guidance for improvement.
  1. Updates & Maintenance

Instructors must:

  • update outdated lessons
  • fix incorrect information
  • replace broken videos or files
  • respond to quality-related messages from the platform

Courses that remain outdated may be removed.

  1. Instructor Conduct

Instructors must:

  • behave respectfully
  • not promote external paid services
  • not ask students for personal contact information
  • not harass learners
  • maintain professional communication
  1. Violations & Consequences

If guidelines are violated:

  • course may be rejected
  • live courses may be removed
  • earning may be held
  • instructor account may be suspended or terminated
